Winter Debut

Triple Bill

Winter Walk

Winter Walk invites audiences into a charming Victorian winter day through the lives of everyday characters. Set against the magical backdrop of falling snow and crisp air, this short ballet celebrates playfulness, perseverance, and the warmth of community during the coldest season.

The ballet blends graceful figure skating, playful snowball fights, and cozy moments into a narrative sure to warm the audience on a cold day.

Aunt Drosselmeyer

Aunt Drosselmeyer is a heartfelt continuation of the classic Nutcracker tale, exploring what unfolds years after the original story ends. This creative re-telling follows a grown-up Clara as she apprentices in her aunt's magical toy workshop. As the two create, reminisce, and grow together, they uncover truths about the future of the workshop-and themselves-which leads to transformative change.

Steadfast

Steadfast is a quiet exploration of identity, limitation, and choice—and the unexpected connection that forms between them. In a child’s toy room, three figures come to life. One stands on a single leg. One balances endlessly. One bursts out, uninvited. Each is expected to play a certain part—but realize their happiness lies past those roles.

The Planets

Ballet

The Planets ballet is inspired by Gustav Holst’s complete orchestral suite, with each of its seven movements representing a celestial being:

Mars, the Bringer of War
Venus, the Bringer of Peace
Mercury, the Winged Messenger
Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity
Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age
Uranus, the Magician
Neptune, the Mystic

In this ballet, each planet is a character with its own story, mood, and presence. As the music unfolds, the celestial beings introduce themselves and interact with one another, gradually drawing the audience into their mysterious and shifting realm.

PRIMARY/secondary

PRIMARY/secondary is a contemporary ballet inspired by color theory, exploring the playful and energetic relationships between colors. Each dancer represents a color of the rainbow, beginning with the primary colors which then blend to form secondary hues. This ballet depicts how together, colors create harmony and evoke an abundance of emotions in humans.
